Pear Blossom

After my long day at school doing mock GCSEs and course work :( I decided to go out in the garden and take some more pictures. After my last picture of the pear tree, I realized It had blossomed out with beautiful white flowers. I have captured this to share with all of you.

Vegetable Trough

One day, my parents and I went to the garden center to buy some new plants and have a general look around. When I was browsing amongst the vegetable plants, I came across this wonderful planting trough. A decent sized trough was very expensive, let alone the biggest one. Roughly, it would have cost around £110 for the one i wanted. After calling over my parents, my dad came up with the idea to get my grandad to build me a planting trough to just the size i want! After the trough was made, all in all it only cost about £20! Now i have a perfect planting space to put all my vegetables. The other day, my grandad came round and filled it up with compost ready for me to start with my planting. Now, thanks to my grandad, i'm  successfully growing carrots (which i will give to my guinea pig), cauliflowers and leeks.

Life of Bob

A couple of years ago, my brother was walking home from town when he noticed some movement in a bush. He took a closer look and found that somebody had dumped a couple of Guinea Pigs in a carrier bag. He managed to get one in the bag but the other (Bob) ran into someones garden. My brother knocked on the door and a old couple joined in the chase around their garden using a washing basket to catch him. My brother brought both Guinea Pigs home. Unfortunately, one of the Guinea Pigs had an eye injury and we took her to an animal sanctuary to be looked after. But as we had a very large hutch, we decided to keep the other. And we named him Bob! He now spends his days eating and sleeping.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog.

I am lucky enough to be growing up in Kent, The Garden of England. In my garden, I enjoy planting vegetables and taking pictures of all the wildlife I see. So this is why I have created this blog so I can share all the things I see with you!
